He studied biology and forestry at the University of New Brunswick. His
career began in the Forestry Consulting Business. After several years he

He worked as a Sales Manager and General Manager for a few different companies
until 1987, when he started Lynn Valley Mfg.

COMPANY HISTORY
Lynn Valley was started in 1987 by
Gunnar and Lynda Muller. Initially a "cut & sew" operation, we employed
four full-time workers and produced a variety of industrial and recreational
products. Our line increased over the next few years to include belts and
suspenders, bug jackets, chainsaw chaps, cold weather shirts, and rain
coveralls.
After three years of steady growth, we
moved to a larger building, employing eight full-time workers. We
continued expanding our product line adding weight support back belts, bug
pants and hoods, and a reflective line of vests, belts, braces, shirts, hats,
and armbands.
By 1995 we were again in need of more
space and therefore moved our office and manufacturing facility to its present
location in the Gravenhurst Industrial Park. Since our last move, we have
discontinued several lines, focusing on those products that
proved most profitable. This enabled us to offer better variety, quality,
and service to our customers for those lines that we continued to make -
predominantly belts, suspenders, bug hoods, and reflective accessories.
In 1999, we acquired a unique line of
orthopaedic products including cast shoes, stockinettes, and soft goods. These
we now make and sell worldwide.
With the equipment and expertise that
we have attained over the years, we also do a considerable amount of custom
work. A client will approach us with a unique requirement they have, and
we are able to design, develop, and produce the item(s) to their specifications.

OUR GOALS
In addition to being
profitable and providing a comfortable, satisfying lifestyle for ourselves and
our employees, (which, in reality, should be the number one priority of any
small business owner) we realize that this can only be accomplished by
ensuring the following: our customers are treated with the respect, honesty, and
reverence
they deserve; our products are unique, functional, high quality, fairly priced, and
available when our customers want them; we continue to improve - to find new
products and ameliorate old ones; to provide solutions to problems; to discover
a better way to do something; to offer better service; faster shipping dates;
cost cutting; etc. All of this we continually strive to do by...
